The Artist

Mr. Lin Yue Ping is recognized and highly noted for his energetic and refreshing interpretations of China’s most traditional ink-brush discipline: landscape, birds/flowers, Buddhist themes, mythical figures and so on. A contemporary “Renaissance” artist, he expertly and masterfully delves into a wide range of mediums of expression: poetry, calligraphy, seal-carving, genre paintings, landscape, figurative paintings as well as pottery painting. Widely recognized by China’s media/publications on contemporary Chinese art as one of China’s most vibrant and noteworthy painters, his works are widely collected by some of China’s most influential and discerning art connoisseurs. His lively and modern interpretation of the mythical figure Zhong-Kui has gained him the honor of “China’s Foremost Modern Master-Painter of Zhong-Kui.” Lin Yue Ping is simultaneously known as among the most investment-worthy artists today.
